Who we are
This website and its member portal are run by The Father's House International. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean The Father's House International, and "you" means anyone who visits the site, signs in, fills out a form or gives online.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form (contact, prayer request, plan a visit or baptism), we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number and message.
When you register for an event or class, join a group or update your profile in the member portal, we keep those details so we can serve you.
When you give or buy something online, we record your name, email address, the amount and the fund or items. Card details go directly to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Signing in with Google or email
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address and a Google account ID with us. We use them only to create your member portal account, sign you in and recognize you on later visits. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, contacts, files or any other Google data.
If you sign in with an email link, we use your email address to send the link and to sign you in.
Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Information collected automatically
We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms against misuse. We do not use advertising cookies.
We keep basic security records, such as sign-in times and IP addresses, to protect accounts. We also use privacy-friendly analytics that count page visits without tracking you across other websites.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your requests and prayer needs, run your member portal account, process gifts and send receipts, organize events, classes and groups, send the emails and text messages you asked for, and keep the site secure.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see your information
Church staff and ministry leaders see only what they need to care for you, for example a group leader seeing their group's roster.
We use trusted service providers that handle data for us under their own privacy and security commitments: Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Twilio for text messages, and Vercel and Railway for hosting. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.
Text messages and email
If you give us your phone number and agree to receive texts, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can view and update your profile in the member portal at any time. You can also ask us to send you a copy of your information, correct it or delete your account. Some giving records must be kept for tax and legal reasons.
If you signed in with Google, you can also remove this site's access from your Google Account settings under Security, "Third-party apps and services".
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13 to use on their own, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Parents and guardians register children for programs. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Keeping your information safe
We use encrypted connections, access controls and limited staff access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in methods private.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make important changes, we will let signed-in members know.
